(“we”, “us”, “our”), available at

By purchasing or using LOLapp, you agree to these Terms in full.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

LOLapp. If it’s not right for you, you get an instant refund — no questions asked,
within 7 days. No subscriptions, no hidden fees, no recurring charges. Ever.
LOLapp is a web-based dictionary and decoder for internet slang, acronyms, and
shorthand expressions. It is designed to help international students and new arrivals
understand modern digital communication in English-speaking countries.
LOLapp is provided by Appyness, a software business based in Australia. Our support

There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no hidden fees.
Your payment grants you lifetime access to LOLapp on any device via your browser.
We accept the following payment methods via Stripe and PayPal:

email with your app access link and a promo code for our future mobile app (when launched).
Your access is tied to your browser via a secure purchase token stored in local storage.

LOLapp is a digital product delivered instantly over the internet. By completing your
purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital good and that delivery
begins immediately upon payment confirmation.
We want LOLapp to genuinely help you. If it is not what you expected, we offer a
full, no-questions-asked refund within 7 days of your original purchase.
We would rather you be happy than keep your $1.99.

The refund is processed automatically — no forms, no waiting, no emails required.

Refunds are issued immediately to your original payment method. The time for the
credit to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider —
typically 3–5 business days for cards and PayPal.
Upon refund, your access to LOLapp is deactivated. Your purchase token will no
longer grant access to the app.
Payment gateway fees (charged by Stripe or PayPal) are non-refundable by those
providers and cannot be returned to us. The $1.99 refund amount is the full purchase
price you paid — we absorb any processing fees ourselves.
Because our refund process is immediate and requires no communication, we respectfully
ask that you use our refund page or contact us directly before initiating a formal
bank dispute (chargeback). Bank disputes are unnecessary for LOLapp purchases and may
delay the return of your funds.
Refund requests made more than 7 days after purchase are considered at our discretion.

of your own devices as you wish.
All content within LOLapp — including acronym definitions, cultural context,
translations, design, and code — is the property of Appyness or its content
contributors, and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit any content from LOLapp
without our prior written permission. Sharing individual definitions for personal,
non-commercial purposes (for example, sending a friend the meaning of an acronym)
is permitted.
LOLapp is provided “as is” for educational and informational purposes. While we
work hard to ensure accuracy, internet slang evolves rapidly and some definitions
may be incomplete, outdated, or vary by region or community.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appyness shall not be liable for any
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of LOLapp.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed
the amount you paid for the service ($1.99).
LOLapp includes slang acronyms that may be considered vulgar or inappropriate in
some contexts. Such terms are clearly marked. LOLapp is intended for users aged
13 and over.
We aim to keep LOLapp available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted
access. We may occasionally perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
We are not liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability.
We reserve the right to discontinue LOLapp with reasonable notice. In the event of
permanent discontinuation, all active users will be offered a full refund.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes
arising from these Terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts of New South Wales, Australia.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your
own country, including consumer protection laws in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia,
and New Zealand.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the
“Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of LOLapp after any
change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
